EncodeHD updated on GitHub

It was pointed out to me yesterday that EncodeHD wasn’t updated on GitHub to the latest 1.1.182.0 release. Ths has now been rectified. Sorry about that folks.

    Try to encode for Xbox 360. Encode360 works but I can get the right setting or something for EncodeHD 1.1.182.0 to work. It encodes but will not play on Xbox 360 over network. I pick Xbox 360 and uncheck H.264 encoding. I found your page once before Googling the issue, but I could not find it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    At this moment I am encoding the same videos with Encode360 as i tried with EncodeHD.

    If I recall correctly, the basic hack is to rename the file to from the MP4 extension to AVI.

    However, it seems a lot of people are recommending streaming using this instead: http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/

    Haven’t looked into it myself but it seems like a decent solution.
