I'm not complaining, I just asked if I'm doing something wrong? I guess I'm not.

Personally I think Dan has done a bloody bang up job.

Please don't forget the Beta Status, the one man band and also the full time job he has.

More importantly, it is FREE !

Encode360 was great for the 360, but I have a PS3 - so EncodeHD is even better.

I have testing EHD since it's first Alpha and the progress it has made, in such a short amount of time has been astounding. I now use it for all my films and tv shows.

Admittedly, I haven't tested a 13GB MKV file, but I will be now.

Keep up the great work bud !

Looks like EncodeHD will be very popular, its a beta guys the whole point is to find bugs and report them not use it as a fully functional app 'yet'.

Regarding the x64bit FFMPEG, been searching for a while and all I can find is people having trouble trying to build it. - Im crossing my fingers you can do what others have failed to do.

Good luck.

Guys, remember this is a beta, it's free, and I'm only one person. It doesn't work perfectly for every file and on every machine type. I'm working to fix bugs as best I can.

What am I doing wrong? I'm using encode HD to convert a 13 gig mkv x264 file for playback on the 360. I chose full quality, and xbox 360 profile. a few hours later it turned the file into a 500mb movie which looks like crap.
