I think the best thing about the new encoder might have to be the space. If i could keep the quality and have everything at around the same or less would be great!!!

PLEASE!!! I'd love something to do MKV and OGG I have SO MANY video about 1TB of MKV video and 1TB of Anime. Simple UI would be best too. i can't get my 360 to see the videos i do with EncodeHD in XBOX360 format i check it and it should see them but nothing ever comes up. I hope this new encoder comes out soon.
Thanks Dan!!!!!!!

The PS3 community benefits greatly from the mkv2vob tool. Perhaps a new Encode360-ish app that only transcodes the video if necessary, and has some (if not all) of the same options, would be super. I'm giving EncodeHD a whirl right now converting an MKV to MP4 for my Xbox 360. It appears to be transcoding the video (I left the H.264 Encoding checkbox checked), which is a bummer. Tools like XenonMKV and GOTSent don't transcode unless necessary, but they crap out all the time.

Just caught up with this news...

I use encode360 a lot because I use a 360 to as a media streamer...

A new version that could use multi-core and encode quicker would be great.
