Encode360 2.03

What a very busy week for me! I’ve been working quite hard on trying to fix up a number of issues with Enc360 around codec issues and the installer itself. Unfortunately there’s still some outstanding installer upgrade things I haven’t been able to resolve, so there’s some things you’ll need to know here if you’re doing an upgrade.

For some reason, the MKV subtitle extraction components don’t get properly installed when upgrading from a previous version of Encode360. I have no idea why, and I’ve spent two days trying to figure out why. If it’s a fresh install, all is well, but if you are upgrading, I recommend you subsequently go to Add / Remove Programs, click on Encode360 and then run a Repair. Otherwise you’re going to get errors with MKV files. An uninstall of the old version may throw up errors around Windows Media Encoder so this is the best way to go about it. :(

Changelog and download link are in the Encode360 section.

Cheers, Dan

You are a legend among men. Thanks for the update. This software is the best out there for converting HD for my 360. Thanks.
