Okay, so it looks like I’ve finally gotten all of the x64 issues sorted. Well, kinda. The installer and app itself should no longer look for or require Windows Media Encode x64 - it should solely require the x86 version. This is because WME x64 does not contain the same automation components as the x86 release and so it cannot be used by Encode360. The good news is, WME x64 doesn’t give any performance increase over the x86 version so people shouldn’t be disappointed.
Changelog and download link are in the Encode360 section
Any plans to add .m2ts file support for 1080 downloadable content and hd cameras?
I’m afraid this can’t be done using the K-Lite Codec Pack.
is that the issue?^^^ i cant get it to work at all now. i love encode360 and ive used it for a long time, but now i cant use it at all. it says something about not having the right codecs or something.. any help?
oh btw i have win xp 32bit
Can you post more info about the problem? Filetype, format etc? I haven’t had any problems.
sure.. ill try and give you all the info… please ask me for more if you need specifics..
i use encode360 a ton! i even told the on10.net team about you when they were talkin about their win media encoder… one day i tried to use it and it just stopped working.. it doesnt matter what file type im tryin to convert. it even happens when i tried to JUST use wmc directly.
when i use wmc ..
.mov “one or more codecs required to open this content could not be found.(0xc00d1b83)
.mp4 “one or more codecs required to open this content could not be found.(0xc00d1b83)
.avi seems to work fine..
when i use enc360..
.mov “[error] class_encoder/encoderstart/encoderprepare: one or more codecs required to open this content could not be found.” >>i click ok >>”[error] encode events/subencode_processfiles: an error occurred while encoding this file”
.mp4 “[error] class_encoder/encoderstart/encoderprepare: one or more codecs required to open this content could not be found.” >>i click ok >>”[error] encode events/subencode_processfiles: an error occurred while encoding this file”
.avi again .avi seems to work fine.
i never had a problem with .mp4’s every once and a while i would have a prob with .mov files.. but would be like.. 1 in 20 or so.
btw.. heres the link to the on10.net shout out, i think i emailed you about it before even…
http://on10.net/blogs/larry/How-To-Encode-Zune-Videos-for-Free/
btw.. i rarely convert .avi’s. its mostly .mp4’s from gamespot..
H.264 MP4
ty for all your help.. i really love using enc360, and i hope you can help me get it back up and running. ty again.
oh ps.. i just tried using it to convert .mpgs and it works fine.
Hey.
Think you can send me a link to one of these MP4’s ? I suspect the audio might be AAC. K-Lite seems to have striped out CoreAAC in favour of libfaad2 which doesn’t seem to play well with WME. This would explain why encoding using the WME interface or WMCmd isn’t working either.
I suspect we can get this working again, but will probably require an additional codec to be installed (CoreAAC)
Dan
YOURE THE BEST… AROUND!!! AND NOTHINGS GUNNA EVER KEEP YOU DOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNN!!
ty for all your help dan!
its really anything from this site.. http://www.gamespot.com/videos/index.html?tag=nav-top;videos&navclk=videos

http://www.gamespot.com/ds/action/bleachds2nd/video/6198314/bleach-dark-souls-official-trailer-1
and i had the same problem.
Wow this application is super easy to use I’ve mounted a library of great quality files thanks to this program. Thanks Mate.
im sure your workin hard at gettin the new version up and running… just curious if there was any new info for this issue?
Yep, it’s sorted in the latest 2.03 release.
Now that’s odd. I very specifically tested against MP4s from GameSpot using the newly bundled K-Lite options in 2.03.
You sure K-Lite installed correctly?
Cheers, Dan
im pretty sure.. i even un installed it and re installed klite. is there something i should be looking for specifically.?
sooo i tired a couple of things.. uninstalled k lite first, then enc360. then i dl-ed enc360 with no problems.
tried to convert, same problem.
uninstalled JUST klite, dl-ed JUST klite, and when i went to install JUST klite it asked me to uninstall a few things (divx converter, xvid, and something from realnetworks.) jumped threw all the hoops of rebooting and stuff.
(ps.. i downloaded klite mega. imma try uninstallin mega ver and just installing the full ver.)
tried to convert, same problem.
same codec problem. gunna give it another try…
well.. it wouldnt work with the bundled 4.1.7 klite package for the h.264’s so i uninstalled that and tried the 4.2.5. still a no go, but al hamdulillah, the 4.3.1 worked!! swimmingly i might add! now .. if you’ll excuse me.. i have25 gigs and 183 files to convert.. and a LOT of watching to do!! but since its gunna be in wmv now.. i can watch it in twice the speed and half the time!!! ty again for all your help!!
