Another Overhaul?
Right, so it’s been weeks since I’ve posted an update here – primarily because I’ve been so busy in work as of late, but also because I’m finding that keeping the site up to date is, well, a bit unmanageable. I spent quite a lot of time designing it to be a bit snazzy and “Web 2.0″ but the upkeep of this has been a pain and demotivating to write anything new. Every WordPress / PhpBB forum updates are extremely tedious, due to some theme compatibility issues I’m having now.
So I’m planning to do a strip-down and rebuild on something a bit more basic, probably continuing to use Justin Tadlock’s brilliant Options theme as a base but with less of my own customisations and less graphics.
Additionally, I was thinking of switching to bbPress for the forums so the whole site is a bit more integrated, and trimming them down a bit to essentially be FAQs and Support info.
I’ve already set up a new bug tracking system for Enc360 and WMA and am currently doing some testing with this. Bug Reports in future will go to specific email addresses and allows me to track problems better than I currently am (and by that I mean, pretty much not tracking at all!).
Any thoughts on all this?
Incidentally, full and proper x64 support for Enc360 is top of my list. I get a lot of mails about this so please bear with me while I try to get everything sorted out here first.
Cheers

Hi
Let me start by saying I’m a tech moron (my email address speaks volumes toward that idea) I hate my new Zune cause I did not know it had the video problem. I downloaded everything you said for the encode360. Everything downloaded fine ( I assume) but when I try to fix a file the program immediately stops running and the popup tells me Windows is looking at ways to fix the problem. Well they aint got back to me with any answers yet so I thought I would BEG you for help.

Sounds like you don’t have Windows Media Encoder installed. Or possibly .NET Framework 2.0. Can you verify these are installed in Add/Remove Programs? Cheers, Dan
Nope they are there and I did the patch as admin too. UGH.
I did a repair on the program and when it still went down I uninstalled then installed again. No go.
I have a bad feeling about this….
